Mary Ann Grossman, Esq.

We Care Legal Services PLLC

Mary Ann Grossman, Esq. is a managing partner of We Care Legal Services. She comes from a strong background in public interest law, having spent the early part of her legal career working with clients who were financially disadvantaged, displaced, from other countries, victims of abuse and violent crimes. It was during this period that Mary Ann learned how difficult it is for the average working person to afford legal representation. Working with her husband, Jan Grossman, Mary Ann developed the concept of a private law firm responsive to the financial needs of middle class and low income individuals who find themselves in difficult, family, financial and criminal situations.

Mary Ann is a strong advocate for her clients, their rights and welfare and is responsive to the needs of individuals in legal crisis. When the situation warrants it, Mary Ann is also available to assist her clients during evenings and weekends. Her goal is that her clients become empowered through the legal process instead of demoralized, that they have a clear sense of where their case is going and that she is an attorney that cares about their case and about them as individuals.

Mary Ann, in all of her professional positions, has been a lead or supervising attorney. She has led and taught others attorneys about the complexities of family law, child protection, and protection from abuse issues. Currently, she and Jan supervise a staff of ten lawyers, clerks and paralegals, each with their own areas of legal focus and concentration.

Mary Ann respects all faiths and how faith can help through adversity and comfort them during difficult times. Mary Ann herself is a devout, practicing Catholic. She has been a Catechism teacher. Her belief and commitment to the welfare of others motivates all areas of her life and she believes that a client’s faith can assist in placing their legal issues into a spiritual context. Mary Ann is open about the fact that she is a cancer survivor and her faith gave her strength through this experience.

Mary Ann has always had a deep interest in the welfare of children. She is the proud mother of two sons and two step-sons. She taught at Burlington County Special Education School District in New Jersey for 6 years. It is not surprising that a majority of her legal experience involves cases involving the best interests of children.
